Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff said the Beehive State also intends to fully cooperate with the national report requests, but he is making sure there are no statutory barriers to sharing the information.
Seung-Hui Cho, the Virginia Tech shooter, used two semi-automatic handguns in April to kill 33 people, including himself. Although Cho had been ordered by a court in 2005 to receive outpatient mental health care, he was able to legally buy the firearms.
