You gotta love the breathlessness of stories like this. Hart Research, or any of their GOP counterparts, wouldn’t last one election if they were anything but 100% ethical in the manner in which they served their clients. But hey, it’s a great headline.
RALEIGH – The State Employees Association of North Carolina hired the polling firm Peter D. Hart Research Associates to survey its members last month about topics that included the candidates for governor. The firm already knew a good bit about one Democratic candidate, Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue, since Hart works for her campaign.
