Attorney general candidate John Parker received backing from a key local labor group last week when the Central Montana Central Labor Council voted to endorse the House Democratic leader from Great Falls.
Parker is in a tight three-way Democratic primary race with former state Sen. Mike Wheat of Bozeman and Helena attorney Steve Bullock for outgoing Attorney General Mike McGrath’s seat. The primary election is June 3.
