A former assistant U.S. attorney from Daphne, Ala., said today that she will join the race for attorney general.
Michel Nicrosi, 45, said she plans to file papers with the Secretary of State’s office on Thursday to run for the post as a Democrat in 2010.
“If we want to, you know, finally clean up this state, keep our families safe, we don’t need another politician as attorney general,” Nicrosi said. “We need a prosecutor, and that’s what I’ve been for most of my life.”
